The Win the Game of Money Institute was founded by Bob Ritchey. 

Bob Ritchey, a California native, received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1964 with a major in mathematics and a Master of Education degree in 1965 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  He moved to Bakersfield, California, in 1965 to teach mathematics at West High School and coached football and basketball.

            Bob became interested in studying the principles of success and financial independence in 1968.  In the late 70’s, he taught a program, Adventures in Attitudes, to adults, and also developed a semester class for his high school students called Skills for Success.

            Bob started investing in real estate in 1976 and obtained his real estate license in 1977.  In 1980, he received his real estate broker’s license.  He was an independent real estate broker for 25 years.  During his real estate sales career, Bob has sold over 1000 investment properties with a sales volume of over $100 million dollars.  Bob was a member of the National Association of Realtors®, California Association of Realtors®, and the Bakersfield Association of Realtors®.  Bob has owned over 225 rental units during his investment years.  He currently has a portfolio of 47 units of which 32 have no loan.  Bob has also owned several real estate management companies. 

TGR Realty – Income Property Specialists was founded by Bob in 1992. The company was named for the book, “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill.  The goal of TGR Realty was to help educate individuals so that they could successfully invest in residential income producing real estate.  Bob understood that knowledge always increases the probability of success.   TGR Realty developed a series of reports and seminars that provided individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to make intelligent decisions.  After reading our reports and viewing our seminars, Bob was able to help dozens of his clients purchase properties and meet some of their financial goals.

Bob developed and taught four 2-hour seminars.  The first was “How to Win the Game of Money,” which covered the principles of financial success and becoming financially independent.  The second seminar was entitled “How to Build a Real Estate Money Machine”, in which he taught How to Win the Game of Money using residential income property as the asset.  Bob also taught “How to Manage Residential Income Property for Maximum Profit.”  Finally Bob saw that a lot of the people who attended his seminars did not have the money, credit, or courage to take the risks involved in investing in real estate so he taught a new seminar, “The Ultimate Nothing Down Cash Flow Business Money Machine,” where he taught how the average person could save money on taxes and build passive income without investing money.

Bob sold TGR Realty and Management and retired in 2003 from actively selling real estate.  In 2005 he moved from Bakersfield to his dream home in South Lake Tahoe with his wife Vicky and two of his sons, Alex, age 17 and Michael, age 12.
